Canada will launch a formal protest with the World Trade Organization over a ban on the import of seal products approved by the European Union, International Trade Minister Stockwell Day announced Monday.
The ban, which was approved Monday at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, would be implemented in all 27 EU member countries over the next nine months, in time for Canada's next seal hunt.
The Canadian governmetn is a JOKE!!! Seriously, thank god someone has the balls to stand up for the rights of hundreds of thousands of helpless animals. If Canda keeps fighting this, A formal revolution is coming. PETA is being nice and political about the horrible things that people do to animals. People will get involved more and more, and it's only a matter of time before a revolution happens. I myself can agree, that I would much rather see the headline saying "Seal hunter beat to death by Animal rights activist" as opposed to "Man bludgeons 1000 seals over the course of the Seal hunt". Everyone knows I'm right, when the majority of the old farts who are disconnected with society but still running our country finally pass away and a new generation takes over, Canada can once again be proud!
